Tucked into a hill above the road in the beautiful Wye Valley, our B&B gives you beautiful views over the river and valley into the surrounding hills.
Swans can often be seen floating along the river, as well as geese, otters and the occasional crane.
At dawns, woodland birds to sing beautiful choruses, and other wildlife in our gardens includes many deer, foxes, rabbits and hedgehogs. Now and then perhaps a badger or two.
Rising above the B&B on the hillside, the gardens views are even more stunning than the lovely views from the bedrooms, lounge and dining room. There are many seating areas to rest, relax and marvel in the views of our valley.
We also have a wonderful cosy guest lounge filled with maps, books, and crackling woodfires on chilly evenings. Relax on our poets chaise lounge by the window while you dream and gaze over the river.
Walkers and cyclists are very welcome (we have secure bike storage) and it is said that there are 100 miles of trails within 10 miles of Tintern, many of them starting right near our front door. We have many maps and lots of advice with the local walks. We also have a drying area to dry your clothes if you are wet.
While two of our rooms are pet-free for guests with sensitivites, dogs are are welcome in our 2 pet-friendly suites. The area is a dogwalking paradise, and all of the local pubs are dog-friendly.
